Introducing our Collaboration with Leanne Ford
We are thrilled to introduce our new collaboration with interior designer Leanne Ford. Leanne Ford is an American interior designer admired for her modern yet lived-in aesthetic. Ford continues to expand her creative mission, inspiring people everywhere to embrace the joy of creating and playing.
“I believe in and talk about the ‘joy of play’ in all aspects of life, though I’m usually referring to art and design. Now it’s fun to actually talk about playing a sport!" said interior designer Leanne Ford.
"When I started playing pickleball, I did a deep dive looking for gear that would match my style; something neutral, simple, tonal. Finding that nearly everything had a neon streak across it, I was thankful to discover Recess, which already had beautiful paddles. After sending them a message to collaborate, I was able to create handmade and simple ink designs I had made while painting with my daughter. I finally had gear I was happy to hit the court with, and that now matches everything else in my life."
